GOOD READS
Goodreads is a popular site for readers and book recommendations. It helps people find and share books they love. However, the current Desktop version is filled with lots of features but doesn't deliver an overall good experience. Because of its outdated design aesthetic and lack of usability, the current application has become hard and annoying for the users to use.
I worked on this as a personal project to strengthen my UI and UX skills.
Role : UI re-design, Heuristic evaluation.
Tools used : Figma, Adobe Illustrator.

Challenge
Goodreads is a widely used and established product among readers. This is also the most talked about application in the UX world because of its complicated user flow, intuitiveness and cluttered UI. Giving it a new, clean look while not disturbing its general flow was challenging.

Heuristic analysis
Heuristic analysis is one of the ways to test a product's usability issues and efficiency so that the problems can be resolved.
As a result, improving the user’s satisfaction and experience by raising the chances of a digital product’s success overall.
Using Laws of UX and Usability heuristics, I analysed and redesigned Homepage, Book listing page and Book details page.
